Integrative Restoration (iRest®) is a modern-day protocol developed by Dr. Richard Miller with incorporates the ancient life-altering practice of Yoga Nidra, a deeply relaxing practice of guided meditation and self-inquiry.
Experienced while lying down or seated in a chair, iRest® allows us to rediscover our natural state of joy and well-being.
During iRest®, we’ll explore the artificial feeling of separateness generated by the mind using body sensing and breath awareness techniques, and through inquiry into where in our body we hold these feelings, emotions, beliefs.
The practice of iRest® Yoga Nidra produces deep relaxation, helps develop a calm response to life’s stressors, and helps resolve negative emotional and thought patterns.
- Each session begins with 30 minutes of gentle yoga asana and ends with 35 minutes of iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation.
- Over the course of 8-weeks, you’ll develop relaxation
techniques you can use any time, anywhere.
- Between sessions, you’ll practice iRest® at home using iRest® recordings.
- You’ll also be provided provided materials to use for study and self inquiry.
